“I wanted to pay tribute to the series itself and to classic literature. I wanted to take those two things and fuse them together. In a way, the first Harry Potter cover should feel like Dickens.” -Kazu Kibuishi, A New Look for Harry Potter

Hey nerds! This study says that if you love awesome books (like Harry Potter, LOTR and Hunger Games) are less likely to vote in the election. WE MUST PROVE THEM WRONG!!!!!
I love all of those books and I vote!!!
Barack Obama is missing one component of the Deathly Hallows. My guess is that it’s the Invisibility Cloak that’s currently hiding Mitt Romney’s economic policy (and his tax returns).
Sometimes you’ve got to choose between what is right and what is easy.

… Hogwarts was all:
“Harry - I think I’ve just understood something! I’ve got to go to the library!”
And she sprinted away, up the stairs.
“What does she understand?” said Harry distractedly, still looking around trying to tell where the voice had come from.

Breaking J.K. Rowling News of the Day: News from the industry vine this morning is that J.K. Rowling has officially signed a book deal with Little, Brown, and will soon be releasing her highly anticipated Harry Potter follow up.
No word yet on title, plot, or publication date, but word is that the book’s target audience will be adults.
“Although I’ve enjoyed writing it every bit as much, my next book will be very different to the Harry Potter series,” said the author in a press release.
The freedom to explore new territory is a gift that Harry’s success has brought me, and with that new territory it seemed a logical progression to have a new publisher. I am delighted to have a second publishing home in Little, Brown, and a publishing team that will be a great partner in this new phase of my writing life.
